Spending a lifetime dreaming about European travel, in the Summer of 2024 those dreams manifested. Never traveling this far, with trips integrated within the larger trip I needed a better way to manage a schedule, organize bookings and documents, to easily manage.

Tools like Wanderlog and TripIt exist, but neither fully bridged the gap between passive itinerary parsing and active, collaborative trip planning. Travel Manager is the tool I wished I'd had.
Travel Manager is a centralized travel planning and itinerary management app designed for complex, multi-leg trips. While apps like TripIt excel at automatically parsing confirmation emails into a readable itinerary, and Wanderlog offers map-based trip visualization, neither provides a unified space that connects reservation management, shared cost tracking, real-time collaboration, and pre-booking ideation in one cohesive experience.
Users can forward reservation confirmation emails directly to the app or manually enter trip details, with key information automatically extracted and organized — event type (hotel, flight, restaurant, activity), cost and who paid, and date. All of this populates a unified trip calendar, giving travelers a clear, at-a-glance view of their full itinerary.
The app also supports manual event creation, shared trips and real-time collaboration with co-travelers, and a planning space for capturing ideas, links, and notes before any formal reservation is made — bridging the gap between dreaming and booking.

The next phase of Travel Manager expands from organizing an existing trip to actively shaping one. Because confirmation emails already serve as a rich, structured data source, a natural evolution is surfacing that information more intelligently — reducing manual input and making the app smarter the more it's used.
Planned features include group surveys to align travelers on preferences and decisions before commitments are made, AI-assisted itinerary generation and tuning that proposes day-by-day plans based on existing bookings and group input, and integrated budgeting and expense tracking to give travelers a real-time view of what's been spent, what's remaining, and how costs are split across the group.
